About Christine
Christine Tolf is an Herbalist, Flower Essence Practitioner, and Reiki Master Healer.
She is the founder of Lichenwood Herbals. In 1997, Christine formalized her herbal training by apprenticing with Wendy Snow Fogg of Misty Meadows
Herbal Center in Lee , New Hampshire , and spent several years as the shop manager there. She has continued her herbal studies under the tutelage of
well known herbalists such as Matthew Wood, David Hoffman, Margi Flint, and many others at conferences, intensive workshops and certification
programs. In 1998, Christine completed studies with David Dalton of Delta Gardens and became certified in flower essence therapy.
Reiki attunements were received through the traditional Usui system (Reiki I and II) with Master Sara Siefert-Piper of the Reiki Alliance, and also in
Shamballa (Reiki Master Healer) via Reiki Master Teacher Christopher Penczak. Christine is self taught as an aromatherapist, but credits her
aromatherapy mentor Kate Leigh, LMT, ARC, as an inspiration in the healing arts through aromatherapy.
Christine has been helping people find their way on the path of healing since those early days of working in the herb shop.
As she treads further down her own healing pathway, she is now passing on the knowledge she has received from her own teachers and
mentors by conducting certification programs in flower essence therapy and herbalism, and by opening her home to her own honored teachers
that they may share their wisdom with new students in their workshops and classes.
