GOnce you have co-created a flower essence and you have a mother essence bottled, what comes next? Now is the time that you will dilute your mother essence into stock and dosage essences.
Store Mother Essences in 4 ounce Amber glass bottles. Mother Essences are preserved with brandy (50% brandy is the recommended norm). Succuss the completed essence to potentize it. Label the Mother Essence with common name, Latin name, and the date you made the essence. Store the Mother Essence in a dark place, away from temperature extremes, and with some sort of barrier, such as a cardboard dividers, surrounding each essence. Bottles should not touch each other.
Fill the half-ounce stock bottle to the shoulder level with a solution of brandy and water. Again, anywhere from 25-50% brandy is the norm. You may use another stabilizer such as vinegar or vegetable glycerin if you prefer. Take the clean dropper and use it to withdraw Mother Essence from the Amber bottle. Make sure to shake the Mother Essence a bit first to wake it up. Check in with your guides and the plant spirits of the flower essence you are working with. Ask how many drops of Mother Essence you should add to each stock bottle. Between 2-9 drops of Mother Essence is the recommended amount to add to the stock bottle. Label the stock bottle with the common and Latin name, and the stabilizer you used. Succuss the completed essence to potentize it. Store the stock essence in the same way that you store the Mother Essence.
To dispense at the dosage level, fill either a half-ounce or a one-ounce dosage bottle to the shoulder level with a solution of stabilizer and water, just as you did for the stock bottle. Now you are ready to add any combination of stock essence drops that you wish. Always success and potentize each dosage bottle. Label the dosage bottle with the flower essences that are in the blend, or you can do this on a separate sheet of paper. Make certain the client knows what to expect, how to contact you, and has another appointment time set up if that is appropriate.
Flower essences can be taken at either the stock or dosage level. When you take an essence at the stock level there is a bit more risk that you will feel resistance in a way that is challenging, perhaps even physically uncomfortable. Personally I usually take essences at this potency because I understand very well what may happen and I am usually able to use these uncomfortable feelings to focus on creating the change I am seeking. When I work with clients on the other hand, I always dispense at the dosage level. Dosage level essences still help people transform their emotions and behaviors but in a gentler, less "in your face" kind of way.
