With Kate Leigh of Midheaven

When taking greater responsibility for our own self-care, we must begin by examining ourselves. Let us organize our thoughts, and evaluate compassionately our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual domains. Come to the class with your ideas. Kate will introduce some simple effective additions to our lifestyles, suited to regain balance and health. We will discuss the design of areas within our homes dedicated to furthering our well-being. We will stretch together, blend essential oil products, learn a bit about anatomy and physiology, employ self-massage, and concentrate on our breath. We will also experiment with meditation and visualization, and discuss the role of crystals, shells, and stones within our homes. The basis of this approach is to more fully integrate the intuition with the intellect. It will be a personally creative experience. Let us at last focus on ourselves and learn from each other.

Plants can be powerful teachers in re-imagining these relationships as well as in teaching the body how to breathe more deeply and more freely In this workshop we will explore: -- Asthma as an autoimmune condition -- Food sensitivities, leaky gut, and asthma -- Emotional and spiritual aspects of asthma -- Herbs for acute asthma attacks
